Sharepoint 2010 in conformity with the requirements of records management?

After SharePoint 2007, version 2010 is it "full" compatible with ISO 15489? In a note posted recently Aizenstros Elon, head of Australia's RecordPoint which develops software for records management tools including Microsoft SharePoint (and therefore necessarily a point of view oriented but particularly warned) is categorical: content management are compared to the previous version of the tool, significant progress: the unique identifier of a document, type information web 2.0 (web pages, wikis, etc.. ) integrable as records, filing plan customizable, setting a custom lifecycle for each content ... However, some essential requirements are not yet covered. Particularly lacking for complete management of other materials such as paper or film, the final output management, retention schedules and comprehensive interactive and integrated management records management system. Still some depth to make and also still opportunities for specialized solutions.

How To Unlock Combo Lock

sharing of public data and job creation

The debate on the reuse of data from Vital and relayed by Archimag shows that the Directive 2003/98/EC adopted 17 November 2003 on the reuse of public sector information is always (more than ever!) News. The transposition into French law the directive, which amended Law No. 78-753 of 17 July 1978 on access to administrative documents (by Ordinance No. 2005-650 of 6 June 2005) includes all public data . The reuse of public data in France is a right. The primary meaning of this Directive, which is also faithfully followed in most European countries, is the creation of value added by private organizations, themselves generating activity, thus employment ... it to relieve the national economies and indirectly public budgets hit hard by the crisis. According to a study Serda Lab that France still has progress to make in this approach to excellence and at the same time, on this particular subject of marital status, vigilance is still development in relation to personal data for as Archimag queries: data vital they are similar in nature to other public data?

How Did Newton Affect

Should we forget the past to provide a future? There

The subject of the literary series this year: an excellent (simple and complex) subject to which every manager should look!
Thesis: not because we capitalize and draw lessons from the past, elements essential to progress effectively towards a shared goal
Antithesis: yes, let's forget the past and adds that binds us lead soles for running ... ups, start-up spin faster and stronger than large organizations (this is especially true in areas of new technology markets)
Synthesis: Past and future are obviously inseparable. Imagination (innovation) has its source in the roots of the past, Past lessons are also part of the PDCA (Plan Do Check Act of quality assurance signed by Deming)

AND everything is a matter of balance: the right knowledge leads to increased access to a useful operational and to win its future: it is the art of knowledge management and the day before.

Note:
The group organizes Serda with the Sorbonne, a symposium on the topic labeled: limit orders and limit désorde of September 23 next afternoon ( www.archimag.com and www. serda.com ). See videos of the last conference.

Quality and Quality Manager for the wickets of knowledge in libraries

synthesis brilliantly exposed by Raymond Berard of Abes zooms in on a quality that must be continuous , which must be simple, especially not being a perfectionist and should always include a certification .
interventions during the day show that the road remains to be done to go beyond product quality to quality management systems, or to quality management.
libraries, places of learning and memory are now in control of the quality of their products and services: inventory, funds, tracking, deadlines, etc. .. Digital products remain in need today and even tomorrow they can be manipulated and monitored. it comes to choosing formats, migrating existing content (scan, organize, control, etc..) interpret and regulatory compliance, manage the flow and procurement of electronic documentation, develop flows to terminals such as digital tablets or telephones or the ebook reader. So many questions which are yet to develop even invented.

And many issues to meet the changing practices and uses customers and particularly the clientele from Generation "Y".

To meet the rapid changes in practice as the means of access to content, increasing the amplitude of schedules, new uses of reading rooms, the establishment of a quality management system is decisive and effective response. That's where libraries have the most to advance. Valerie
BRESSOUD-GUERIN, director of network media centers Valais outlined the approach quality integrated network of 120 medium and small libraries of Canton in Switzerland Vallais . The reference ISO 9000 and 14000 were applied through a Regional Certification (OAE), which was much more impact than powerfully integrated into the tourism strategy of Canton. This consistency has led to links which are heavily tighten between teams of librarians, elected officials, and the cultural administration of the Township. Here is an exemplary approach that translates on the field by bases of common content, exchange of "best practices" to increase the quality of service and hospitality, the development of listening and a "service contract" between the teams and the political authorities .

New Standard for records management, Moreq in question?

Two very important information last week (besides the beginning of the World Cup course !):
- the launch of the consultation on the modification of Moreq 2, the reference to the 800 requirements and 330 pages with 10 Moreq
- the positive vote by the ISO standards body for records management (TC46 SC11) common repository for the new management tools, records management, namely the new standard ISO 16175.
On analysis, Part 2, which corresponded roughly to Moreq 2, more simplified, n has not been accepted. That's what makes me say that we are entitled to wonder about the co-existence of Moreq and this new standard. In addition to Part 1 which shows the generality it is therefore the Part 3 of 78 pages (whew!) which was approved : "Guidelines and Functional Requirements for Records in Business Systems" to be presented in FDIS vote. It's still the most innovative! This functional description and presentation of model records management becomes the de facto international standard for applications and systems that will now be developed and deployed in organasations public or private. This is the relief for providers and system developers who are currently juggling between different repositories sometimes difficult compatible (EDRM include fast, dod, MoReq, etc..), if the standard is finally adopted.

The repositioning and clarification should be monitored by professionals with great acuteness and vigilance in the coming months!

NB: This new standard is the result of work of the International Council of Archives and has been a proposal to vote "fast track" with ISO in recent months.

Viruse Eating Disorder

The buzz on standardization records management ...

For over a year, the draft standards of ISO 30300 series of the headlines. The records management system (MSR) is in the subject. This series of new standards will she replace the standard ISO 15489 which was published in 2001 in English and French in 2002 or will it supplement?

Even before the vote, he agreed that the subcommittee 11 of Technical Committee 46 clarifies the situation: it's done at the last meeting held in the Republic of Korea .

The first two standards will soon be submitted to a vote. These principles and vocabulary for the first (ISO / DIS 30300) and Requirements the second (ISO / DIS 30301).

How is articulated in practice the series of ISO / DIS 30300, ISO 15489 and ISO 9000 series, 14000, etc.. ?

The novelty is that this new series is linked to series of standards management as well as ISO 9000 (quality management), 14000 (environmental management), 27000 (security information) or 22000 (food safety). It is aimed primarily at policy makers and management such as quality.

first concerns the organization and the second the object of records management: the record and associated processes. The latter relates more naturally records management practitioners.

Records: legal evidence or evidence of activities, or both?

This new series also expands the scope of records management stating that the records consist of information that go beyond mere documentary evidence to become justiciable information evidence, ie not modifiable and complete that were created in the course of normal activity of an organization. This course also includes the proofs justiciable.

Will I be able to certify my system of records management in my company?

With the new status of the series of ISO / DIS 3030X, an organization may be actually certified. Much an organization can be certified under the ISO standard number 15489, as she may be under these new standards, provided that national bodies can offer certification services in this area.
